Snow Day/School Closure Information
The Halifax Regional Education Centre takes great care when making a decision to alter the normal operation of schools in the event of severe or inclement weather.
Eric Graves Memorial Junior High is part of the Prince Andrew Family of Schools.
It is the goal of the HRCE to make the decision to close as close to 6 a.m. as possible. There are several ways you can find out:

Permission Form Required
In the event of a mid-day school closure, it is essential that the school have written instructions on file from the parent/guardian as to where students are to go, and how they are to get there. Your attention and consideration is this regard is greatly appreciated. We have created an Early Dismissal Permission Form, please fill this out and send it back to school with your child.
