This week is Spirit Week at Eric Graves and we have some fun afternoons planned for today and Friday.  Please read the details below.

Thursday:
Jersey Day – Wear your favorite team’s colours, jersey, hat, t-shirt, socks, etc.
BINGO - After our Student of the Month assembly this afternoon, we will play a whole school BINGO game.  Every student will be provided 2 free BINGO cards with the option to purchase extra cards for $1.  There will be many prizes for students to win.  All proceeds will go toward future fun school events.

Friday:
Neon/Bright Colors Day – Wear neon or bright colors.
Afternoon Dance – Friday afternoon we will be having a school dance during school hours.  We are asking every student to pay $2 to attend the dance.  All money raised will go toward a fundraiser to help stock the Dartmouth Community Fridge.

Canteen – Our grade 9 leadership group will run a canteen both Thursday and Friday afternoons.  Every item offered in the canteen will be between $1-$2. Proceeds will go toward future fun school events and toward the Dartmouth Community Fridge.

Other Information & Important Dates:
Grade 7 Immunization Clinic:
This Friday morning NS Public Health will be here to run the grade 7 Immunization Clinic.  It will take place first thing in the morning in our gymnasium. If you have any questions, please contact our main office.

Sports Games:
Our indoor sports have begun.  Both our boys and girls volleyball teams are off to a great start!  We love to have students come to cheer on the players.  All students who want to watch school sporting events must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.

Girls Volleyball practice today after school from 3;00-4:30pm.  Please arrange a ride for pick up at 4:30pm.

Best of luck to the Boys Volleyball team who play their first game today after school at 3:30pm at SRB.

Basketball Tryouts:
Girls – Tryouts are this Friday at lunch in our gymnasium.
Boys – Tryouts will take place Friday after school.  Students should be picked up at 4:30.

Nov 13th – Remembrance Day observed – no classes
Nov 17th – Asessment and Evaluation Day – no classes
Nov 21st-28th – Report cards sent home
Nov 23rd – Morning PD for teachers. Afternoon is parent-teacher conferences – no classes
