GRADE 7 FOOD DRIVE:

• The Grade 7's will continue to collect non-perishable food items for their food drive until Wednesday, December 6th.  Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated! The food will be donated to the Dartmouth Community Fridge.  The homeroom class who collects the most food will win a class party.

Turkey Dinner Charity Fundraiser:

• Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets in support of the turkey dinner charity fundraiser.  The money raised will be used to support a local family in need. Congratulations to the winner, Stephanie Owen!

Winter Lunch Time Routines:

• Eric Graves’ lunch hour begins at 11:40.  Students are able to eat lunch in the lunch room until 12:00.  Winter temperatures have arrived and we would like to remind students to dress appropriately for the weather.  We will continue to go outside from 12:00-12:35 when the weather permits.

Homework Hub:

• There are free bilingual math tutors available for students in grades 7-12.  They offer their service from Sunday to Thursday from 5:30PM - 9:30PM.  The phone number is 1-888-444-6607.  There are also textbooks, videos, practice questions, and vocabulary review.  Students can access these resources by clicking on the NS Homework Hub icon on the GNSPES main page.

Important Dates:

• December 4 – no classes as it is a Professional Learning Day for teachers.
• December 21 - 2023 Holiday Break begins.
• January 2 - first day of school for the new year.

SPORTS:

• Boys Basketball tryouts today after school from 2:40pm-5:00pm.
