SCHOOL:

• Parents can now include the Parent Portal as another means to report Absence with Notification for their student.
• In regards to the upcoming skating trip, we have two tentative dates selected, but have not yet confirmed which date will be chosen.  We will let you know once finalized.

COMMUNITY GUEST SPEAKER:

• We will be having a guest speaker from the African NS Community Cultural Connections (ANSCC), Mr. Kirk Johnson, who will be giving a presentation on Monday, January 29, 2024.
• The topic of discussion will be one of the following:  Fighing is Not the Answer, Your History Matters, Racial Trauma, Getting to Know and Appreciate Your History, or The Importance of Educational Achievement.
• All ANS learners are encouraged and expected to attend.
