SCHOOL:

• The boys upstairs bathroom will be closed for today.
• Parents are encouraged to speak with their student regarding bringing or wearing perfume scented products as we are a scent-free environment.
• Parents are also encouraged to remind their student to bring a water bottle and utensils to school each day.
• Student of the Month Assembly tomorrow afternoon last period.

COMMUNITY:

• FEBRUARY is African Heritage Month.
• The 2024 African Heritage Month theme is Our Smiles, Our Joy, Our Resilience as African Nova Scotians.
• This month is a time to celebrate and recongnize the history and culture of people of African decent.

GUEST SPEAKER TOMORROW:

• We will be having a guest speaker from the African NS Community Cultural Connections (ANSCC), Mr. Kirk Johnson, who will be giving a presentation on Friday, February 2, 2024 from 1-2pm in the gymnasium.

SPORTS:

• Boys Basketball game today at 4pm vs Ellevale. All spectators must have a parent/guardian with them in order to attend.
