Terry Fox Walk:  This morning our students and staff went outside to do their part in raising awareness and monies for the Terry Fox walk.  We were happy to see so many students participate in this 45 minute walk throughout our school community.

National Truth and Reconciliation Week (Sept 25 - Sept 30, 2023):

September 30th, is a recognized day of reflection & honouring, not a celebration.

National Truth and Reconciliation Day should be observed with the same consideration and solemnity as other days of honouring those who have paid the ultimate price, sometimes needlessly, especially Indigenous children. Assemblies, school wide opportunities for learning, and special tributes should occur throughout our school system in the days leading up to and beyond “Orange Shirt Day.” 

In solidarity with National Truth & Reconciliation Day, we ask you to respect, reflect, and observe this day, with careful consideration. This provides intentional time to pause and reflect on concepts of Truth & Reconciliation.

Please wear "Orange" on Sept. 29th and beyond!

Sports:  Best of Luck to the Boys Soccer team at their game today after school at SRB.  Participant students will be dismissed at 2:25pm for the game.
