COMMUNITY:

• Guyleigh Johnson is an African Nova Scotian woman from North End Dartmouth. She is a published author, artist, and community advocate who focuses on youth, race, and mental health.  Her first book of poetry, "Expect the Unexpected" was published in 2016.  Guyleigh also published a second book, "Afraid of the Dark".  She is the daughter of African Nova Scotian Student Support Worker, Ms. Shonda Cain.
